During lockdown, Zhong Gan Engineering and Construction selected WEC Projects to be their specialist water treatment partner on a design and build tender for the Botswana Water Utilities Corporation, for Kasane Water Treatment Works, a new drinking water treatment plant in northern Botswana. As tourism is on the rise in Kasane, they require a new system to replace the smaller, older water treatment plant in the area.
WEC Projects recently developed and shipped a custom engineered wastewater treatment plant for an international mining company. The main purpose of the treatment plant, which has a treatment capacity of 150 m3/h, is to assist with removal of arsenic from the wastewater stream at the mine.
