De Koning has a history in sales, both in the consumer sector as well as water and wastewater, his previous position being a sales representative for Calcamite Sanitation and Wastewater.
He completed a BComm in Communication Management at North-West University and his Honours degree in Strategic Brand Management at the Vega School of Branding. He has also completed courses in marketing analytics and digital marketing.
His responsibilities at WEC Projects include identifying and developing new business opportunities; customer relationship management; tendering and proposal production, and assisting in the company’s strategic marketing initiatives.
